In 2017, I started my very first business: KH EDITS. It had one purpose: to provide post production services to everyone who needed it, content creators and business owners alike. While (attempting to) build my client base, I had multiple people ask if she had anything else to offer aside from cutting out the "ums", "uhs" and awkward pauses from their videos while adding some fancy transitions and royalty free music. That's when I knew that if I wanted to be successful in running my own business in this field, I would have to expand my services. And with the 2020s proving to be a decade full of changes in my personal life, I decided that it was time to make some professional changes as well--- starting with the name of my company.

Enter NUCLEAR LIZARD MEDIA. In addition to editing videos for people, I expanded to editing podcasts as well. And yet, it still felt like something was missing. I went on an educational and spiritual journey to find out what that was.

As I was finishing my Bachelor's degree (at the "seasoned" age of 34), I found myself growing closer to God. I felt a pull from the Holy Spirit towards helping my fellow students with their editing projects. I wanted to mentor them. I wanted to teach them what I know. I was bursting at the seams with editing knowledge and biblical wisdom, waiting for someone to ask me to share it with them. When those opportunities finally came, my heart was filled with joy. Sure enough, during an extended time of prayer in early 2026, God revealed my purpose to me: be a mentor for teens and young adults. And how would I do that? By teaching them what I know.

Now Nuclear Lizard Media is not just an editing service. It's a source of education on the world of video editing and post-production with a bit of biblical wisdom sprinkled in. I'm not here to convert anyone, but if working with me ultimately brings you closer to Jesus, then I've done my job.
